Kevin Jude Smith, 63, of Clarksburg, MD; a Loving Husband, Father and Grandfather passed away March 14, 2018, after a lengthy battle with cancer. He passed peacefully surrounded by family and friends. He is survived by devoted wife of 43 years Karen, daughter Jewel and daughter-in-law Donna, son Kevin and daughter-in-law Jennifer, and his two grandchildren, Justus and Maxwell.
He was an U.S. Army Veteran and worked for 23 years for New Wave Technologies as Director of Services. Kevin is a true renaissance man with a love for making things with his hands and heart.
Memorial visitation to be held Saturday, March 31, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at DeVol Funeral Home, 10 E. Deer Park Drive, Gaithersburg, MD.
Celebration of Life to be held Saturday, June 23, 2018 at 3:00 at the Smith residence, 22413 Frederick Road, Clarksburg, MD.
