Lin Qin Shen

Lin Qin Shen passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 29, 2017 in the Montgomery Village Health Care Center, at the age of 93. Born in Shanghai, China, Lin Qin and her husband, Zhi Qiang Zhang, moved to the US in 1989 to live close to their daughters. She was a devoted wife and loving mother and grandmother.       

She is predeceased by her husband Zhi Qiang Zhang.  She is survived by her daughters, Yi Yuan Zhang and her husband Wilford Sheng of Germantown Md; Yi Yun Zhang and her husband Kui Wang of St. Peters Mo; her grandchildren, Lee Sheng and his wife Naphisira Phasukavanich; Jansen Sheng, and Lucy Wang. 

Friends are welcome to call on Tuesday, April 4, at 9:45 a.m. for a viewing, followed by a service at 10:15 a.m. at St. Mary’s Church, 520 Veirs Mill Road, Rockville MD 20852.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to any Catholic Church.

Lin Qin enjoyed cooking, knitting, playing MaJiang, and traveling and was always eager to help others. She will be missed by many.
