Liza Christine Mataac Dodson

On Thursday, December 10, 2015 Liza Christine Mataac Dodson, of North Potomac, MD, went home to be with the Lord. Liza is survived by her selfless and faithful husband, James Dodson; her two wonderful beloved children, JR and Maddy; her stepdaughter Korissa; her forever loving parents, Celso and Vilma Mataac; her brother and sister-in-law Francis and Lara Mataac and their children Maria and Milena; her devoted ?Ange?, Angelina Tangi; and countless lolos, lolas, titos, titas, kuyas, ates, cousins, nephews, nieces, and godchildren both here in America and in the Philippines.

Friends may pay their respects at DeVol Funeral Home, 10 E. Deer Park Drive, Gaithersburg, MD 20877 on Wednesday, December 16 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. 

Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church, 9200 Kentsdale Drive, Potomac, MD 20854 on Thursday, December 17 at 10:30 a.m.

Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. 

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Liza C. Mataac Dodson Memorial Fund, 19 South Pond Street, Newbury, MA 01951. www.youcaring.com/LizaMataacDodsonMemorial Donations will be used for a scholarship fund or other activities supporting young people and education, in honor of Liza?s lifelong commitment to these causes.
