Mary Ellen Mehring

On Friday, July 21, 2017 Mary Ellen Mehring of Gaithersburg, MD.  Beloved wife of the late James David Mehring. Mary grew up in Kensington, MD and attended Bethesda Chevy Chase High School.  Mary attended Western Maryland College and received a graduate certificate in physical therapy from University of Pennsylvania.  She loved her work as a physical therapist in the pediatric unit at the DC General Hospital where she spent 10 years.  Mary and Jim raised their family in Rockville, MD and attended Faith United Methodist Church where she was active in the choir and handbell choir.  Loving mother of Susan Hebb (Robert) and David Mehring (Kendra).  Also survived by her two grandchildren, Luke Hebb and Emily Mehring.  Friends may call at DeVol Funeral Home, 10 East Deer Park Drive, Gaithersburg, MD 20877 on Tuesday, July 25, 2017 from 6 to 8 pm.  Funeral services will be held at Faith United Methodist Church, 6810 Montrose Road, Rockville, MD 20852 on Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at 11 am.  Interment Parklawn Memorial Park Cemetery  Please sign family guest book at
