Mary was a dedicated career Federal employee. Mary was born in Pittston, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late Charles and Mamie Shea Sharp. During World War II Mary was a Red Cross nurse’s aide. She moved to Washington DC around the end of the War to accept a position at the Post Office Department Headquarters where she spent her long and distinguished career as an Administrative Assistant.
