

Michael Baldwin Weber, age 89, formerly of Preston Hollow, New York and Dumont, New Jersey, passed peacefully away on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, beside his beloved wife at the Flora House assisted living residence in Gaithersburg, Maryland. He was born to Frank Weber and Elsie Baldwin Weber on July 3, 1937, in Schenectady, New York.
He was a veteran who joined the US Navy in 1956 and was stationed in Naples, Italy as a Radioman aboard the USS Henley. After his honorable discharge in 1960, he met the love of his life at First Baptist Church in Hackensack, New Jersey. They were married there in 1961. He worked as an Engineer at the Hackensack Water Company where he retired after a life-long career. He was a licensed Real Estate Agent, Appraiser and Assessor. He received his bachelor’s degree at Fairleigh Dickinson University in Teaneck, New Jersey and a degree from the College of Financial Planning.
A former Roman Catholic, he accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior and was baptized in the Mediterranean Sea during his tour of duty in Naples. He became a devout follower of Christ, a Baptist Deacon and Sunday School teacher, and regularly conveyed the gospel of hope at missions and to all those he met. He leaves a legacy of uncompromising faith, a passion for souls, and a thirst for the Word of God.
He and his wife moved from New Jersey to the Catskills of New York, retiring in 2000, enjoying their stunning views of the mountains from their log home until 2026.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Jurema Weber, his son, Daniel Weber and his wife, Christina, his daughter, Sharon McManigle and her husband, Drew, grandsons, Jesse Weber and Vincent Santiago with their wives, granddaughters, Nicole Colletti and Tanya Goodum with their husbands, 17 great-grandchildren, and a great-great grandchild.
