Stephen Charles Gray

Stephen Charles Gray (aka Bubba) was born in New Jersey and was the son of Robert S Gray & Joanna L Kresge & older brother to Christian b Gray. He enjoyed growing up in Yorktown Heights NY, where he had a wonderful child hood. He, his brother & all his friends would go sledding, ice skating, climbing apple trees, swimming at Sparkle lake, stealing watermelons from the local farmer and cracking them on the nearest curb to eat them. Steve and Chris also went on many vacations upstate to visit their cousins in Laurens, NY-those days were so precious to both of them-it helped open their eyes & grow to the wonderful things that New York State had to offer. Running through the fields, dodging cow paddies, chasing chickens, camping outdoors & swimming in the local creek.

He was active in the arts in middle school as he grew to be a teenager. The Grays moved to Rockville Md where Steve joined the Navy and learned about jet engines. Steve eventually received a general discharge and moved to Virginia Beach Va. He was married twice (Faye & Louise) in his life and became a widower twice.

Steve developed COPD & heart failure which lead to him living full-time at a long term care facility

He passed away on March 19, 2020 he will be dearly missed by all that knew him!
