Born Susan Jean Habercom in Hagerstown, Maryland, her mother moved the family to a townhouse on Q Street in Georgetown.
She was a Washington Redskinette cheerleader for 6 years, while being a hardworking, loving, dedicated mom to her children Christopher and Julie. Her adventurous nature took her to San Francisco where she moved to for 9 years before moving back to Georgetown where she lived the rest of her life out.
Susan is survived by daughter Julie, her only grandson, Benjamin, and sisters Alana and Bobbie and her brothers Bruce and Guy
Her son Christopher John Brockmeyer passed away from pancreatic cancer March 22, 2022.
