She was born in a beautiful place called Guatemala City on August 15, 1932. She was the daughter of Jose Murga and Juanita Hernandez.
Being a Single Mother was not an easy task, but her LOVE for her children’s made her a strong and hard worker, to protect, feed, give them shelter, education, good health, and raise in the Catholic Faith.
She enjoys cooking, sewing, and crochet; besides listening, dancing, singing the music of her early 20’s ( Marimba, Mariachi ). Her favorite singer’s was Pedro Infante, Jorge Negrete, Jose Alfredo Jimenez, and Trios los Panchos, Marimba Chapinlandia, amongst many others.
She loved to walk and feed the geese, ducks, chickens, doves, and squirrels.
Flowers were a part of her life, and her favorite colors were pink, purple, yellow, and some green leaves. Green -the Color of Hope and Rebirth - (Verde Color de Esperanza y Renacimiento )- The Spring Colors.
Her passion was taking care of her lovely sons and grandchildren, no matter how old they are; but always showing her deep respect and love without any condition or preference.
She will be deeply missed by her family and friends, but mostly by her Son’s Jorge Vicente Hernandez, Americo Oliva, Martin Oliva, and her grandchildren, Jaqueline, Estefany, Jose, and Gabriel, and great-grandchildren, Vannesa and Veronica.
Her Specialty “Tamales Navideños” will be a big miss at the end of this year.
Our Deeply Hope is that she may be forgiven and granted an indulgence for any mistake in her human lifetime.
May God have Mercy of her Soul and Spirit and to be elevated to the Heaven as was God Promise.
