Victor Manuel Faustino

May 7, 1959 – January 14, 2022

After putting up a relentless fight and masterfully negotiating for more time on Earth, Victor Manuel Faustino was called home to the Lord with his family present. Victor was known to those around him as warm, generous, and genuine man with an incredible smile and admirable love of life. Victor was so very proud of his children and grandchildren and the love he had for his wife shone through in all he accomplished. It was so obvious Meña was Victor’s pride, soul, and joy. Victor was well-traveled and shared a coupled passion and respect for nature, great adventure, and a love of good food and conversation. Victor found pleasure in the very simple things in life and made sure he lived each and every day to the fullest. As a savvy and self-taught business man, Victor built and led amazing companies that he managed with the same beliefs he lived his life; those of honor, dedication, and respect. His hard-working nature and work ethic continuously gave way to his positive outlook and that spirit was divinely evident in all he accomplished. Victor was a true American in heart and soul and his love of country and becoming an American citizen was so important to him. We celebrate a life well-lived by a person who was known as a great family man, business man, and American to his core, who showed his faith, inner strength, and zest for life throughout.

Victor is survived by his love Maria Eugenia Peña Faustino, son Victor Arthur Faustino, son and daughter-in-law Alvaro J. Yusty and Claudia, daughter and son-in-law Maria I. Joseph and Ceon, grandchildren Sidney Joseph, Isabel Joseph, Dru Joseph, Matthew Yusty, Andrew Yusty, and sib-lings Armenio Faustino, Madalena Marum, Abilio Faustino, Maria Isaura Maysonet, and Paulo Faustino. Victor is pre-deceased by parents Antonio Faustino and Ilda Faustino, beloved son Georgie Faustino, sister Milu Ascenso, and brother Leonel Faustino.

A viewing will be held at DeVol Funeral Home, 10 East Deer Park Drive, Gaithersburg, MD 20877, on January 28, 2022 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM. Funeral services will be held at St. John Neumann Catholic Parish, 9000 Warfield Road, Gaithersburg, MD 20882, on January 29, 2022 at 1:00 PM, followed by interment at All Souls Cemetery. Friends and family are invited for repast to celebrate Victor’s life at the family home of 5 Delta Court, Gaithersburg, MD 20882. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in his name to Semper Fi & America's Fund
