He is survived by his wife, two sons, grandson, and dog Bernie.
In life, Vladimir enjoyed skiing, boating, fishing, watching hockey, and cooking for family and friends.
A long-time employee of National Institute of Health, he was dedicated to his work and research.
The memorial service will be held on Friday, May 1, at 12:30, at DeVol Funeral Home. The burial proceedings will immediately follow. His final resting place is Parklawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Rockville, Maryland.
