Bill will always be in our thoughts... Great Kind man.....

Paula, those of us out of Maryland don't always here of things back in Maryland on a timely basis.  I know it's 6 months ago, but I feel prompted to let you know that DeAnne and I feel that you and Bill were great friends and fellow servants with us during our 10 years in the Seneca Stake.  There was no finer couple that you two and we have continued on doing family history over the years (you helped us with that!) and we fondly remember our time together in the Gaithersburg Ward.  Our love to you!

All those who love Bill are missing him greatly. Paula and Rebecca I am so sorry. I am so grateful to the man who got Vivi to sleep 16 years ago and was willing to pay dry cleaning bills to do it. His dedication to the Lord and to the two of you is undeniable. Earthly loss is so painful. May you hold tight to your sweet memories until your sweet reunion.

I am saddened by your loss. I have benefited from the kindness of your family. I pray that as painful as this time may be, that it also may become a time filled with spiritual experiences and spiritual renewal. God bless all of you.

Bill may have been understated in his outward self, but was a giant inside and a blessing for all those lucky enough to know him. The times he spent in my home are treasured memories and I look forward to renewing our conversations someday.  He taught me many things about life and the importance of service, but also about practical skills, how to approach problems and challenges, and even the intricacies of Excel.  Always a smile graced his face; he is such a kind soul.  My condolences to the Family - his life is well remembered among so many friends.

My condolences to the Family! Brother Ashcraft was my family home teacher many years ago and he worked directly with my Son Donovan. We were in Olney chapel together, so it was good to see him again in the MV chapel. He always had a smile on his face and you could tell it was in his heart. He will be missed, but we were lucky to have known him!!!

Hello Paula and Rebecca,  I am very sorry to hear of Bill's passing.  As you know, I worked with Bill in various church capacities over the years.  He was very dedicated to the Lord and the people he worked with - and to his family.  He also was very knowledgeable, smart and insightful.  We will miss him.  And look forward to seeing the three of you together again in some future day.
