On Saturday, June 9, 2018, William P. Rector, a retired police officer with Montgomery County Police Department for 32 years passed away at the Casey House in Rockville at the age of 81. He was the beloved husband of Mary Ann Rector; loving father of four children, seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; sister of Marian Marino. Friends may call at DeVol Funeral Home, 10 E. Deer Park Drive, Gaithersburg, MD on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 from 6 p.m to 8 p.m. and on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. when a service will be held at 11 a.m. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in his name to Casey House-Montgomery Hospice, 6001 Muncaster Mill Road, Rockville, MD 20855.
