Will always remember the undefeated '54 season the Tigers had with Tom at the helm. Although I wasn't much of a player, I did get to snap the ball a few time in the 7th and 8th grade to Tom as a second string center for the Blue Devils. 
Thanks for the memories Tom, I will always remember.

Met Tom through several mutual friends of his via Naples/Toledo/DeVilbiss connection. He was a great guy and an avid sports guy. A great player at Ohio State. I believe he played for ledgend Woody Hayes. We will miss you, Tom. Our deepest sympathies for your family.

November 13, 2015 - Going to DHS for all 4 years, who would stand out but none other than the greatest football player ever. One of our early reunions he came all the way from England and he won the honor of coming the farthest. He was an honorable man and represented the best school in the city. He always made you feel special no matter who you were. I am proud to have known such a great man who personified the best school in the country. You live on in our hearts so you will never be gone. We shall all celebrate the legacy you left us and know your family is proud of you. Make sure you keep that football team in tow when you lead God's team. God Bless You Tom

I have many fond memories of Tom from long ago.  There were many bike rides, softball games, and, of course, football. My sympathy is extended to the family. May he rest in peace.

Tom and I first met the spring of l962.  I was substitute teaching at our alma mater, Devilbiss High School, Tom had stopped at the school to see and talk with Tom Inman, a coach.  We met again years later, early 2000's, in Naples, Florida, even compared our cars since we both had purchased a Navigator.  The last time I saw Tom was at Centennial Terrace, an outdoor dance venue in Sylvania, Ohio next to Toledo.  Great conversation!  Always enjoyed Tom's anecdotes about Woody Hayes and his days at OSU.  Positively no one was a more loyal Buckeye than Tom Crawford.  We kept in touch through the years via the internet.  Hilton Murphy, Tom's DHS coach, told me one day, mid-2000's, that Tom was his BEST quarterback and he coached many championship teams with some fine  signal callers.  God bless, Tom, special person with a unique outlook and refreshing demeanor.  Good guy!

A really good guy, I got to know Tom in high school when we played sports together. We stayed in touch over later years. Prayers to his family and friends.

I remember fondly when I first met Tom in junior high at McKinley.  He was this 'oh so good looking' and very nice redhead who was a star of the Blue Devils from DeVeaux School.  He of course continued as a star, and I loved seeing him play at DHS and OSU.  He    remained a friend, and a good guy indeed.  Condolences to loved ones and those close to Tom

The DeVilbiss Class of 1954 will always remember Tom.  We hope all the good memories of the past will help you through this sad time,  Rest in peace, Tom, we will miss you.

TOM CRAWFORD WILL BE GREATLY MISSED AND WAS A TRUE HERO IN OUR DEVILBISS HIGH SCHOOL CLASS OF 1954.  HIS FINEST HOUR WAS AS QUARTERBACK WHEN THE TIGERS DEFEATED WAITE HIGH SCHOOL, NOTORIOUSLY CALLING DEVILBISS "THE CAKE EATERS".

Sue, Aimee and Bridget, Our heartfelt sympathy to you all. Great times with Tom through grade school and DeVilbiss high school. Stayed in touch over the years and had some good conversation about old times and football. Buckeyes and Wolverines don't usually mix well but we had a great mutual respect. He will be missed by all who knew him.
