Angela Grandma Lee O'Brien

Angela Lee O’Brien passed away on December 29, 2014. She worked in the medical field most of her life and simply adored children. She was a tender, loving, and caring mother, daughter and grandmother. Angela attended Gateway Church and she was a woman of great faith. She rarely failed to attend a Sunday church service. Angela lives on in our memories. She lives on in the quiet joys and lessons she brought to her life and relationships. Above all else, her wisdom, faith, kindness, and compassion will be with us forever. Just as she provided guidance to her children and grandchildren, her guidance will remain with us-her family and friends-throughout the rest of our lives.

Angela is survived by her mother, Virginia Bouchea; brother, Mark O’Brien; three children, Shannon Olson-Baker (Lance), Christina Bathe (Brian), and James Mixon, Jr. (Kyndal). Angela was also blessed to have had nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Alexis Davis-Gibbons (Josh), Brooke Davis, Cayla Davis, Landin Baker, Laurel Baker, Hailey Mixon, Riley Mixon, Victor Tillman, Dylanger Bathe, Brennan Gibbons and JennaBelle Stone. She also leaves her beloved David Mixon and Billy Olson.

Though she may be gone she will never be forgotten and will forever remain in our hearts. She waits for us to be reunited in heaven as she watches us from above. Angela is dancing with Aunt Amber and the dragonflies and is now reunited with her grandparents Lamar and Allie Mitchell.

Visitation will be held at Fairhaven Funeral Home, Highway 80 in Garden City on Friday, January 2, 2015 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.

Funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, January 3, 2015 at 1:00 p.m.

Burial will follow at Greenwich Cemetery.
