He is preceded in death by his parents Arnold and Nora Veno Wilson.
He leaves behind only his siblings Nancy Wilson Allen which he loved without question, and would also like to mention that Tony and Jimmy Wilson were as close as brothers could be to him. He truly loved his wife Delieta Lynch Wilson of 35 years, two wonderful children Buddy (Crissy) and Crystal (Tommy) which he leaves behind as well. He is also survived by five beautiful grandchildren, Haylie, Taylor, Cody, Logan and Gracie who will miss him dearly and didn’t have nearly enough time with him.
Although Robert didn’t attend church very often, he was a long time member of Bonna Bella Presbyterian Church where he gave his life to the Lord and was baptized.
Robert was a hard-working man that enjoyed golf, going to the beach, camping and traveling. He loved the Beatles, the Georgia Bulldogs and Dale Earnhardt. He has a multitude of friends along with family that shared these pleasures with him on many occasions. He talked about those times often with fond memories. Everyone will miss his sense of humor and incredible personality.
In lieu of flowers donations would be appreciated to help with medical and funeral expenses at any Wells Fargo Branch under the Robert Wilson Jr. Donation Account.
The entire family would like to thank Hospice of Savannah for all the cared and dedication that they have provided.
