Betty Jo Wrenn Brown

She was born in Collins Georgia to Howard and Ruby Collins Wrenn. Betty was a member of Morning Side Baptist Church and had attended Grace Community Church.

Betty was a graduate of St. Joseph’s Nursing School where she received her RN degree; she was a Bookkeeper and had open several H & R Block locations with her husband. She established the Book Nook in Rincon in 1996.

She was preceded in by her husband of 49 years, Stanley Lee Brown.

Survivors include her daughter, Polly Ann Engebretson; son and daughter-in-law, Stanley “Stan” Lee Brown II (Sess); siblings, James “Bobby” Wrenn (Kathy), DiAnne Amerson (Roger); Howard “Dana” Wrenn; grandchildren, Heather, Karl and Ty; several nieces and nephews.

Memorial Contributions may be made to Island Hospice, 1000 Towne Center Blvd. Ste. 303, Pooler, Georgia 31322.

A gathering for family and friends will be Friday; August 8, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at the Fairhaven Funeral Home Garden City Chapel with a funeral service beginning at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel, burial will follow the service at Hillcrest Abbey East Cemetery.
