Betty Jean Applegate Orndorff

April 27, 1927 - April 22, 2011

Betty Jean Orndorff, 83, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 22, 2011 in Savannah, GA with her family by her side. Betty lived her life with a smile on her face and a dance in her step as she brought joy to those around her.

Betty is preceded in death by her husband, William Vernon Orndorff and parents, Orman and Georgiana Applegate. She is survived by daughter, Darlene (Don) Oldfield of Savannah, GA and son, Michael (Lynda) Orndorff of Cincinnati, OH; five grandchildren, Michelle Briggs of Seffner, FL, Carrie (Tim) Lee of Elizabethton, TN, Robyn Dace, Kristie (Andy) Staley, and Michael Orndorff, all of Cincinnati, OH; five great grandchildren, Tyler and Austin Lee of Elizabethton, TN, Connor, Madison, and Carter Dace all of Cincinnati, OH.

A Memorial Gathering will be held at 1:00PM, Saturday, April 30, 2011 at Skyway Memorial Gardens, 5200 U.S. 19 North, Palmetto, FL 34221.
