He was born and raised in Savannah; a Baptist and a Truck Drive for Evans Transport.
Survivors are his sons, David Lee Floyd, Jr, Shean Christopher Floyd, and Clayton Wilson Floyd; parents, Henry and Mary Joyce Reese Floyd; sister, Patricia (Jack) McDaniel; brothers, Tony Clayton Floyd and Paul Steven Floyd; 5 grandchildren; his loving and faithful canine companion, Mutly; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other family and many friends.
Visitation: 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Monday at the Funeral Home.
Funeral Service: 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at Fairhaven Funeral Home Garden City Chapel.
