Edward Davis Colson, Sr.

Ed was a lifelong resident of Chatham County and a 1951 graduate of Savannah High School. He was retired form Amoco Oil Company and served his Country in the 118th US Army National Guard were he also retired after 20 years of service.

Ed was a Presbyterian and an avid Golfer.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Barbara Ann Barras Colson; children, Dave Colson, Ricky Colson, Meg Ulmer (Danny) and John Colson; brother, Ernest B. Colson, Jr.; sister, Deloss Freymuth; 4 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Visitation: 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at the funeral home.

Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 22, 2015 in the Chapel of the Funeral Home.

Burial: Bonaventure Cemetery.
