James “Jim” P. Cook, 54, died Saturday April 13, 2013 at Candler Hospital.
Jim had lived the past 20 years in the Savannah area; he was the owner of Dean Forest Guns and Ammo. Jim proudly served on the Guyton City Police Department and was avid supporter of the 1/75th Ranger Battalion at Hunter Army Airfield; he was a funding board member of the Sua Sponte Foundation, an avid hunter, competitive shooter and loved firearms.
Survivors include his fiancée, Natalie Houck; his mother, Mrs. Frances B. Cook; many many friends and other family.
Visitation: 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Friday, April 19, 2013 at the funeral home.
Funeral Service: 6:00 p.m. Friday, April 19, 2013 at the funeral home chapel.
