

Jerry was formerly employed by R.B. Baker Construction and was a member of Elam Egypt Baptist Church.
He is preceded in death by one son, Jerry H. Jarrell, Jr.; two brothers, Johnny and Jimmy Jarrell; and sister, Bobbie Joe Shipes.
He is survived by his loving wife, Debra Jarrell; son, Tony Walsh (Crystal) of Poplar Bluff, MO; five daughters, Lisa Baxter (Brett) of Savannah, Jessica Nettles (Paul) of Eden, Destiny Fountian (Gerald) of Guyton, Emily Silva (Richard) of Guyton, and April Rushing (Mickey) of Travelers Rest, SC; sister, Jeanette Howard (Hugh) of Baxley; 15 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two nieces; and two nephews.
Visitation will be held at Fairhaven Funeral Home & Crematory, Garden City on Thursday, October 3, 2013 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.
Memorial service will be held at Fairhaven Funeral Home & Crematory, Garden City on Thursday, October 3, 2013 at 4:00 p.m. with Pastor Robert Bagwell and Charles Williams officiating.
