He is preceeded in death by his parents and survived by his loving wife, Lilane Knecht; two daughters, Jennifer A. McGee (Matthew) and Jo-Anna K. Hint (Timothy); two brothers, Danny McPhay and Dean McPhay; three sisters, Bonnie K. Smith, Billie Mae Thompson, and Hazel Trask; and five grandchildren.
Services will be private.
