Ms. Karen Annette Cowart Newman

She was preceded in death by her parents Harold and Gerona Cowart, two brothers, Herbert Cowart and Harold Cowart, three sisters, Roselle Salter, Betty Bailey and Virginia Vaughn.

She is survived by one brother, Henry “Samp” Cowart (Sue) of Frogmore, SC and two sisters Edie Jones of Reidsville, GA and Diane Beasley (Lamar) of Fleming Ga.

Karen was a loving aunt of 32 nieces and nephews plus just as many great nieces and nephews and she loved them all.

Visitation: Tuesday, May 24, 2011 from 6 – 8 PM at the Fairhaven Funeral Home & Crematory.

Graveside Service: Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at 11:00am at Hillcrest Abbey East Cemetery.
