

Mary was born in Liberty County on March 11, 1933. She was a retired teacher of 28 years in McIntosh County School System. She was also a member of First Baptist Church Port Wentworth.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Hubbie B. Croft, Jr., a son Hubbie (Bennie) Croft III and the love of her life, her dog “Pickles”.
Pallbearers will be Paul Stewart, Jr., Christopher Stewart, Thomas Stewart, Jeffery Puttnam, Hugh Justice and Carson Justice.
She is survived by her brother-in-law, Paul Stewart, Sr.; two nephews, Harry Jack Stewart (Lucile, “Lucy”) and Paul Stewart, Jr. (Becky); a niece, Jody Humphreys (Andy) from Pickens, S.C. and several grand-nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind very dear friends Randy and Debbie Oglesby from Jesup, Georgia.
Visitation with the family will be held on Friday, February 28, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Fairhaven Funeral Home in Garden City, GA. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Fairhaven Funeral Home in Garden City with Rev. Randy Oglesby officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Savannah.
The family wishes to extend sincere gratitude to all of her wonderful physicians and the THA Group (Homehealth) Staff in Pooler, Georgia.
