

He was born in Worth County and attended First Baptist Church in Port Wentworth, Georgia. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII in the 1st. Battalion, 3rd Infantry. and participated in the August 15th, 1944 invasion of France. He was a member Woodstock Park Masonic Lodge of Jacksonville, Florida where he received the 33rd degree.
He is preceded in death by his parents, William Martin Jolly and Arrie Bell Carter Jolly and wife, Jewell Jackson Jolly.
He is survived by 2 daughter, Patricia Fields (Robbie) of Rincon, Ga. and Joann Bouye of Jacksonville; 1 sister, Eula Mae Acree of Tampa, Fl.; several nieces and nephews and a host of family and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held 11 am Saturday November 5th, 2011 at Hardage/Giddens Funeral Homes 4115 Hendricks Ave Jacksonville, Fl. 32207 with the Reverend John Ashworth officiating.
