

Ralph Edward Pruden, 60, of Ellabell, GA died Thursday, July 14, 2011 at Hospice Savannah, Inc.
He was born in Elizabeth, N.J. He was a member of the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist, American Legion Post #27 of Richmond Hill, GA, the “Over The Hill Gang “, the Outlaws Car Club, and worked at OMI, Inc. for eight years.
He served in the U.S. Army from 1976 until 1998, and retired as a 1st Sergeant. He served during Desert Storm and the Somalia conflict. He loved to fish, race cars, and was an avid Jeff Gordon fan and avid Pittsburg Steeler fan.
He is survived by his wife, Maria Pruden of Ellabell, GA; two sons, Ralph E. Pruden, Jr. of Savannah, GA and Charles Joseph Pruden of Ellabell, GA; two daughters, Elizabeth Ann Allen (Michael Keith) of Richmond Hill, GA and Donna Marie Vicchiullo (Mario) of Las Vegas, NV; three grandchildren, Michael Allen, Anthony Allen and Christa Vicchiullo.

Gathering of Family & Friends: 5 – 7 pm Sunday, July 17, 2011 at Fairhaven Funeral Home & Crematory.
Mass of Christian Burial: 2:00 pm Monday at the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist.
Interment: 2:00PM Tuesday, July 19, 2011 Florida National Cemetery Bushnell, FL.
