

He was a Veteran of the Navy where he served from 1943-1946. He retired from the Savannah Morning News Press. He loved his family, fishing, gardening and his cat Fluff.
He was preceded in death by his loving parents Nathaniel and Elma Bridges Moore; Daughter Debra Cavanah, Sisters; Edith Kiger and Clarice Malone and brother; June J. Moore.
His memory will be forever treasured by his sons; Donald C Moore and Kim A Moore, Daughter; Glenda Moore Bivins, grandchildren; Tiffany Nevers (Mike), Joshua Bivins, Craig Moore, Dustin and Nicholas Cavanah and five great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, June 12, 2015 in the chapel of Fairhaven Funeral Home and Crematory in Garden City Georgia.
In lieu of flowers, donations may bemade to the Hospice of Savannah.
