Rick was born in Savannah and raised in Bloomingdale and was a graduate of Tompkins High School. He also attended South University. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He was employed by the Chatham County Sheriff’s Department as Deputy Sheriff for 14 years and spent the past 2 years in Internal Affairs, a job he dearly loved. He was of the Christian Faith.

Rick was engaged to be married on October 17, 2015 to his beloved fiancé, Tiffany Howard.

In addition to his fiancé, Rick is survived by his father and stepmother, John and Clisty Hall, of Ellabell; one brother, Steven Wayne Hall, (Christy) of Rincon; one sister, Jennifer Hall Roberson, (Michael) of Ellabell, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins and his extended family, the Chatham County Sheriff’s Department. Rick was loved by all who knew him and will be sorely missed.

Visitation: 5:00pm to 7:00pm, Sunday, Sept. 20, 2015 at Fairhaven Funeral Home and Crematory in Garden City.

Funeral Service: 11:00am Monday, Sept. 21, 2015 in the Chapel of Fairhaven Funeral Home and Crematory, with Father Patrick O’Brian officiating. Rick will be laid to rest in the family lot at Gravel Hill Cemetery.

Memorial Contributions: In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that contributions be made to Chatham County Sheriff’s Department, (Wounded Warriors Fund).
