You are dearly missed. As i read through this guest book at all the ppl you have touched it fills my heart and makes me so proud to be your cousin. Tell mom I said happy bday cause in know you know ;-)

I have just learned of Bobby's passing.  Such a great legacy was left to Savannah - inspired by Bobby and brought to fruition by his mother.   And, I never let him know what year I was born because I didn't want everyone else to know how old I was.

Dear Brother,
You were loved by so many people, some you never knew that wel, but you loved them anyway.  For 69 years I had the honor of being your younger brother and looking after you, along with our cousin Patsy, you never were a burden to either of us.  I feel know that my family is all there in heaven together,Little Randy, Mother, Daddy and now Bobby, what else could I ever asked for.  See you all one day when the Lord choses my time to come home too...Love Randy

It really saddens our heart that a special member of our church family has departed. As Bethel Missionary Baptist Church we worshiped at Savannah Rehab. and Mr. Bobby was always first to be in service. A steadfast and encouraging soul was always appreciated by the Pastor and Members of Bethel. Rest in Peace dear brother.

I remember meeting Bobby at the house of one of my best friends, the Langstons. Bobby loved to ride his bicycle and to ring the little bell. I remember so well him singing "There's a catfish floating down the river, Bobby with his hook and line. Well the catfish turned to Bobby and said, you're never gonna catch me this time!" Bobby taught us all, without ever knowing it, the meaning of respect and how to love life. He was a big part of my memory of my "St James years". God bless you Bobby.....coo coo coo!

A night in the Brennan household was not complete without a phone call from Bobby.  My parents, Agnes & Tom Brennan, talked to Bobby on the phone almost every night for 40 plus years.  Conversations with Bobby were often filled with laughter & jokes, & of course, a few Cootie Coos!  No matter who answered the phone at our house, Bobby always recognized our voice & could tell the birthdays of everyone in our family... month, day & year, and knew how old we would be on our next birthday.  Bobby, of course was not 72... he was 172!  We also remember Bobby riding around on his bicycle singing a song about Catfish, and one day a dog who often followed Bobby around, followed my brother Philip home from school... and "Catfish" became our family dog for years!  Bobby taught our family many important lessons about life, and he was a source of great light & joy for all those he came into contact with over the years.  Bobby will be missed dearly by our entire family.  However, I have no doubt that Bobby's conversations are flowing now in heaven with his parents, our parents, and all the Mayfair gang who went before him.  I'm sure they were all there in great celebration with God to welcome Bobby to his eternal home in heaven!  Rest in peace, Bobby, Cootie Coo!  We love you!

God Bless Bobby. I remember him visiting at St.James School in the '60's always with a song about a "Catfish". I will remember him with a smile and a song!I know his loved ones will miss him here on earth,and some will welcome him into Heaven!

I remember Bobby and his bicycle all around Montgomery Crossroads and Whitfield Avenue. He would come to the Baseball and Softball Fields when my children were young and watch and talk to everyone! I always was amazed at how he could remember names and Birth dates! He would ask you one time and tell you every time he saw you. The children always talked to Bobby and he was always so nice. We all will always remember him as a very special person. His Mother was so nice too! I went to school with his brother. Bobby will be missed. My heart goes out to his remaining family! They have lost a treasure!

My Mom (His Aunt Eula Brown)loved Bobby so dearly.  He would always come by before she passed and knew her name and how old she was.  He was a special young man.  RIP Bobby

I can picture Bobby riding his bike with his basketball and radio. And he Never forgot your birthday. RIP.

I was sad to see Bobby had passed away.  If you were a resident of Cresthill, Mayfair or a member at Cresthill Baptist Chuch you could bet he knew your birthday.  He proudly announced at church when I turned 40 because my birthday was a week earlier than his but he was ten years older. He was always on his bike up at Wyndhams Market and the surrounding areas visiting.  He was quite a character. I'm sure he is catching up with his friends in heaven.

Bobby will be truly missed by everyone here at Savannah Rehab. Bobby brightened my day and always had a story to tell. Heaven is his home now and the facility will not be the same without him. May God bless Pat and the rest of the family.

Our loss is heaven's gain.  Bobby was one of a kind, the mayor of Savannah Rehab who knew everyone by name.  We will certainly miss our phone calls and visits. After a nice reunion with his parents, we have  a feeling Bobby will stop by and see Agnes and Tom Brennan...just like old times!

How many times I heard Coo Coo Coo from my Uncle Bobby growing up! He would always make you smile even on your sadest day and he never meet a stranger. Rest in peace Uncle Bobby! You will forever be in our hearts and left us with many joyful memories!
