Shannon “Shane” Bacon, 47, of Savannah passed away June 12, 2012. He was a man of many talents but he really loved boxing. He held many titles in his career that include winning Georgia Golden Gloves five times. Though he loved boxing and NASCAR, his family was where his heart was and it was important to him that they know he loved them.
He is survived by his mother, Sharon Bacon DeLoach; his father, Reginald Marvin Bacon; his loving wife of 21 years, Tracy; his four sons, Joshua (Alicia), Cody (Robyn), Casey, and Jacob; two brothers, Richie and Levy Bacon; one sister, Shelli Nicholson; and two grandsons, Jace and Carsyn.
A Visitation will be held Thursday night at Fairhaven Funeral Home, Garden City Chapel from 6-8 pm. The Funeral Service will be private.
