

Sister Wilson was born on October 13, 1933 in Estill, SC. The daughter of Georgia Rice and Rev. Prince Green. She was married thirty four years to Deacon John Wilson whom preceded her in death on November 6, 2011.
A dedicated loving mother and homemaker, Sister Wilson was an excellent cook and enjoyed doing so for her family. She had an unwavering faith in God. She was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church for over thirty years where she was very involved and loved to serve the Lord.
Sister Wilson was preceded in death by three of her children, Kathleen, Maria and Edwin Moss; three brothers and four sisters. Sister Wilson is survived by her son, Bobby Sams and her two daughters, Sherry Moss and Yvonne (Earl) Johnson. She is also survived by her four grandchildren, Kevin Johnson, Johnnie McBride, Geneva Moss and Javari Moss. She had two greatgrands, Eric Cook, Jr. and Yolanda Johnson; brothers, Prince Green, Jr., John (Barbara)Housey and Woodrow (Bronell) Housey; three sisters, Rosa Grant, Mary (Wylie) Wilson and Eva (Roma) Drummer whom was also her best friend.
Visitation will be Friday, October 31, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Fairhaven Funeral Home in Garden City.
Funeral services will be Saturday, November 1, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Dr. Willie Johnson officiating.
Burial will be at Magnolia Memorial Gardens on Silk Hope Road.
