Timothy Michael McQuaid

Tim was a good and loving father who said “Having Daniel was the best thing that ever happened to me. It was amazing! We had so many adventures and so much fun together!”

He is survived by his son Daniel McQuaid who looked up to his father and loved him deeply.

Tim was a technical engineer with ABR. He loved his job, co-workers and working conditions. He said “It defined me and was what I had been looking for all my life.”

He is also survived by his sister, Maggie Smith (Rick) of Savannah, GA, sister, Tina Solovieff of Berkeley, CA, brother, Thomas Solovieff (Kelly) of Annapolis, MD, former wife and friend Tracy McQuaid of Savannah,GA, and nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank ABR, Dr. George Negrea, and Hospice of Savannah for their outstanding care during Tim’s illness.

Visitation for family and friends will be Tuesday, July 22 from 5-7 p.m. at Fairhaven Funeral Home in Garden City. Services will be private.
