Anne was a zaney, spunky, wonderful and generous spirit. During her life she took on many jobs--her main one being a strong single mother and taking care of her children. Along with her unwavering work ethic, Anne had many hobbies and interests and so was referred to as being a "jack of all trades". She even spent about 5 years as an owner of an Italian restaurant. She also loved gardening, knitting, reading books, painting, and--most of all--her family. Anne lived and loved fiercely to all she knew. Her family describes her as being "the kindest woman, but completely off her head at the same time"! Anne will be remembered for her courageous, loving, generous and feisty personality that will be forever loved and deeply missed.
Anne was a beloved mother to William Preston, Wendy Finch, and Christopher Piercy. She was a beloved grandma to Alixandria, Campbell, and William Preston, as well as to Stephanie, Justin, and Adam Finch. Anne was also a beloved sister and friend.
A funeral mass for Anne will be held on Friday, August 4, 2023 at St. Columban Catholic Church at 10 A.M. A graveside service is to follow directly afterwards at Westminster Memorial Park.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.dimondshannonmortuary.com for the Piercy family. In lieu of flowers, the family would greatly appreciate any memorial contributions that are made.
