Barbara Ann Williams, 90, of Anaheim passed away on Tuesday, June 18, 2019. She was born on July 18, 1928 in Champaign, Illinois to Mildred and Hugh Dewey Largent. After graduating High School at Compton Junior College in just 3 years, she went on to hold several jobs including an associate at the May Company, “Rosie the Riveter” for an Aircraft Manufacturer, and was the first female school bus driver in Anaheim where she went on to supervise and instruct other drivers in her area. Barbara returned to school to finish her education in the late 60’s and afterward enjoyed a 21 year career with the Walt Disney Company in the payroll department of the Disneyland Hotel. Her hobbies included singing with the Sweet Adelaides, crocheting, and voraciously reading anything she could get her hands on. She was also a member of the Red Hat Society, the Women’s League, and the Optimist’s Club. Barbara is proceeded in death by her beloved husband Leonard and is survived by her children Peggy Ann Morley, Susan Marie Bixler, and Richard Wayne Morley, 6 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild. She will be interred at Forest Lawn in Cypress on Wednesday, June 26th at 11:30am. Barbara was a brilliant, shining light in the lives of those who loved her and she will be dearly and sorely missed.
