Chuck I know you were dearly loved and will be missed.  I only know of you from the "magic" talks with Lollie.  Lollie spoke of you being a welder and both of my sons decided to go into welding based on that alone.  You were a wonderful husband and father! We lived in California and were pen "pals" with Lollie.  Hannah, Dexter, MacKenzie and Maggie will remember.

I am sorry for the loss of your husband Lollie. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Rick, Chuck was truly larger than life. Funny, gregarious, and above all, not timid. I did not have the opportunity to spend much time with him, but the times I did spend with him are very memorable. Like the time at our first holiday party where he cleared the room at the restaurant just by telling jokes and being.....well, Chuck! He will be greatly missed. James Joyce's words from Finnegans Wake  are so very appropriate for Chuck: He lived and laughed and loved and left. 
I am very sorry for his passing, even though he was a Dallas Cowboys fan.

Zachary & I were so shocked & heartbroken to hear that Chuck passed away!! Rick & Dane, Greg, Patti, Mike, Shelby & Tristan, Byron & Chuck, We are so very sorry for your loss & our hearts go out to all of you & the family. You are in our thoughts & prayers. We feel so blessed to have been given the chance to get to know Chuck & to be part of his life! His wonderful & vivacious personality was a pleasure to be around & very infectious!! We will never forget his amazing stories or his booming laughter!! He has touched our hearts & lives & for that we are so thankful!! We will miss him dearly!!

Rick, your dad was the most exuberant guy I've ever known. If you couldn't laugh when Chuck was around, you didn't have a sense of humor. I'll never forget (and will be eternally grateful for) the help I got from you and Chuck when a 6,000 pound outdoor wood boiler showed up on my property on the back of the dealer's pick-up truck. Here we were needing a fork lift...or a crane.....or Superman to get that monster off the truck and into my boiler room. I was overwhelmed by the task before me. But, as things turned out, my worries were groundless. You and Chuck with your superhuman can-do optimism, to say nothing of your mechanical dexterity and iron worker experience -- all of that came together in a truly amazing display of levers and ramps and pry bars and galvanized pipes and inch by inch maneuvering against all the laws of God and Murphy -- and somehow, you and Chuck got that huge boiler rolled into place. Watching you guys pull off that feat was an unforgettable experience. Chuck was an unforgettable guy. He'll be missed.

We were so saddened to hear that Chuck had passed away. Although this is a sad time for all of us who knew and loved him. We have all been blessed to have known him, to see that sparkle in his eye, that impish smile, his tears, his fantastic personality, to hear his awesome stories, his loud infectious laugh, but most of all, share  his love of  life.  We loved him so.
