She passed away on Sunday, surrounded by family. Doris was first generation American after her parents immigrated from Malta in the 1950’s. She was born in Hawthorne, California in Hawthorne Community Hospital on May 2, 1961. Doris graduated from Pacifica High school in Garden Grove CA in 1980.
Upon graduation, Doris went to work in the retail sector working for several companies and finished her career with Goodwill Industries. Doris was a strong-willed individual with very strong opinions on all matters in life and was more than happy to let you know what they were.
Services will be held at St. Polycarp Catholic church in Stanton, on January 5, 2026, at 10:00 am with internment to be at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery in the city of Orange later that day at 12:00 pm.
Doris lived with her mother, Mary Bonnici in Garden Grove, CA. She is survived by her mother, Mary Bonnici, brothers Joseph and John Bonnici and niece Danielle Bonnici and nephew Michael Bonnici. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
