Douglas grew up in Garden Grove, California, where he developed a love for fishing that remained a cherished pastime throughout his life.
He is survived by his wife, Sherri Machado, son, Brant Machado, mother, Virginia Machado, brother David Machado and sister, Suzanne Reed.
Douglas will be remembered fondly by those who knew him. May his memory bring comfort to his loved ones.
