I’ll miss my Tita Emillie so much! The Toronto family is so heartbroken of her passing. 
My Tita Emillie was full of love and never hesitated to tell us or show us - with endless hugs, thoughtful cards and phone calls. She was always willing to provide support and cheer us on in life. We never lived in the same city but she made sure that she, Anthony and Raymond remained close to our families so the distance didn’t matter. 
I was so blessed to be able to spend time with her earlier this year, hear her laugh, eat some snacks, plan our next visit  and kiss and hug her.

Tita Ems was such a giving and sweet person. She would always care about what’s going on in our lives and loved chismis haha. She would call me “her Yassie.”🥰 She always brought food and gifts to family gatherings and would never fail to put a smile on our faces. She had a contagious laugh and was so, so kind to us all. She was a light in our lives that will live on. I love you forever Tita Ems!❤️

To my Tita Emillie…I miss you so much. I have so many memories of visiting you in LA. You always welcomed John and I into your home. You were always eager to hear how we were doing. I could tell you were genuinely happy to see us because of the sparkle in your eyes as we chit chatted about life. Every time John and I made plans to see Anthony and Raymond, I never wanted to leave without seeing you …and I always wanted to take you out to dinner (Roscoe’s, Vietnamese restaurants, Fogo De Chao, Cheesecake Factory…the list goes on).  You were always so fun to be with! I loved hearing all your stories you would tell me about Mama Lita and Tita Fay. You are an amazing woman whom I will remember dearly.  I wish I could see you and hug you one more time. But I know you know how much you mean to me. May you rest in peace in heaven. I love you and I miss. 

My dearest Tita Ems…Words cannot express how much she means to me. I’ve known her all my life. She’s my dad’s only sister. Growing up in Toronto, many of our family milestones and events, she, along with her sons (my cousins), Anthony and Raymond would fly to Canada to be with all of us. Many years later, my husband, Nordin and baby daughter, Yasmina moved to Los Angeles from London and knowing that my Tita was here eased a lot of my stresses. She would drive from the valley almost every week to visit and we would have lunch and talk. And this would continue when Freesia was born. Every birthday, holiday and milestone would involve my Tita Ems. Our family is close. Nordin considers her as his “third mom” and Tita Ems considers him as her “third son”. Tita Ems was always generous and thoughtful. She loved shopping and would spend time to get special gifts for all of us. Christmas would be so fun. She ended up giving us gift bags at some point instead of stockings because she spoiled us with so many gifts that it would overfill. And some of her gifts were so unique. One Christmas, she got Anthony, Ray and Nordin these messenger bags with speakers attached to it. I think it was called a musack. It was so funny! Tita Ems was the matriarch of our family here and missing her will be an understatement. I will truly miss our talks, our chismis, her laugh and hugs. Thank you for loving us and being there for us. You were taken suddenly, and the only thing that is giving me peace right now is that you’re not in pain anymore. Nordin, Yasmina, Freesia and I love you so much. Emillie was my BFF- cousin in our younger years, together with Stella Maclang, another cousin.. Although we studied in different colleges, Emillie at Maryknoll, and I at St Paul College of Manila, Emillie would visit us frequently, together with Tiya Mameng and Tiyo Tonying.. She was a very kind and loving person, with a soft but clear voice, and was always very cheerful.. We would usually exchange stories, or dance and sing together like little girls used to do.. I lost track of her when I transferred school to College of the Holy Spirit for my high school studies, then at UST for my degree, BFA-Ad.. went to the US for several years...
On behalf of my siblings, Venching, Ramon, Benjie, Butch, Lito and Tina, children of Concepcion T Peralta & Vicente M Sales, am extending their sincerest sympathies and loving prayers to your family at this very difficult time..
