

She is survived by her son Michael McElfish; step-daughter Laura Walsh; brother Vergil Best; sister-in-law Fay Best; sister Betty Best Boyd; sister Barbara (Bobbie) Best Stilwell; brother-in-law David (Dave) Stilwell; grandson Chris Adamski; granddaughter Jennifer Adamski Stegeman; great-grandchildren: Colin and Ethan Adamski; and Kristi and Zack Bond; nieces: Jackie Stilwell and Jordan Armstrong; nephews: Jack Hays, Dale Stilwell and Ken Stilwell; great-nephews: John Armstrong, Kyle Stilwell, Mack Stilwell and Fisher Stilwell.
She is preceded by her husband Owen McElfish; her daughter Susan McElfish Adamski and her second husband Jim Walsh.
A private Celebration of Life will be held to honor Geneva with her family and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Nena's name to Door of Hope Women's Shelter. Mail checks to 525 N. Broad Avenue, Wilmington, CA 90744 write "Nena Best Walsh Memorial Fund" in the memo line. Our Vergil Best was instrumental in the construction of the Door of Hope Women's shelter with Rolling Hills Covenant Church.
