Pop,
He was a gentle man and loved my mom very much.   He always had a smile on his face and would come home from work cheerful.  Dad loved to eat and he loved his newspaper.  My favorite memories were our family camping trips as a child and Christmas.  My mom would backseat drive when dad was driving the camper around corners.  I would be sitting between them in  the truck and mom would be telling dad to slow down around the corners.  "HUN, slow down!!" while Mom would be bracing herself on the dash and using her foot to air brake.  Dad just listened patiently to her and continued to drive.   He never rebuked her.   My other favorite memory is when Dad took me with him to see grandma in Bellflower.  I barely remember it because I was probably 4 or 5.  But a good memory for me.   Later on, good memories of Dad and Mom moving me to Wisconsin, and then Dad helping me to move back.   Another great memory is when I took Dad and mom on a fishing trip to the Bishop area.   We had a good time and caught no fish, which was typical for any fishing we ever did.

I am so fortunate to have gotten to know Grandpa Greg a little over the past ten years. I admired his faith, love of family, and work ethic, and enjoyed seeing his smiling face when we visited. I especially appreciate the positive influence he had on Jason. They shared a lot of laughter, and I’m happy to have seen that in person. 

Rest peacefully, Grandpa Greg. We will see you again someday.

Extraordinary that is how I describe my Dad!❤️  He was someone you couldn’t wait to see or hang out with or go on a drive by to see his business or stop to get a vanilla cone at McDonald’s.
Always there to ask how you are, provide you with a story,   words of wisdom  and 9 a strong hug and words of “I love you to Doll!” when you said good bye.
I will always hold you in my heart.

So blessed to have had this wonderful man as my Grandfather. Always waiting for me with open arms. And when I think about him and Grandma together...what a love story! We should all be so fortunate to lead such a great life. Adios Abuelo. Love, your Mijo. 

Greg was a kind loving man and always a smile and good humor.   He was the Patriarch of a beautiful family and loved by so many.  Heartfelt condolences for Angie and all the family.  May you feel the comfort, peace and prayers being sent by so many.
