

Gregory was born to William and Eileen Vincent on August 3, 1960. Gregory was the eldest of six boys and was raised in Rancho Palos Verdes. Gregory attended Holy Trinity Elementary School in San Pedro, before attending Bishop Montgomery High School in Torrance, where he then graduated in 1978.
Gregory continued his education and football career at El Camino Jr. College and graduated in 1980 with an Associate Degree. While attending El Camino Jr. College, Gregory began working at the "Great Western Forum". It was while he was working at the “Forum” that Gregory met and fell in love with the love of his life, Debbie DeBaun. Gregory and Debbie married August 6th, 1988 and were soon blessed with three loving children, Kelsey Marie , Erin Cassidy and Collin Gregory.
Gregory began his law enforcement career with the Long Beach City Police Department on August 11, 1983. Two years later Gregory lateraled to the Torrance Police Department. Gregory spent the next 27 years serving the citizens of Torrance before retiring in December 2013.
Gregory always held a passion for sports. He coached several of his brothers' baseball and football teams. Gregory continued with his passion for sports by umpiring baseball and referring football sporting events.
Gregory leaves behind a loving wife of 26 years, Debbie, and their three children, Kelsey, Erin, and Collin. Gregory also leaves behind his mother Eileen his father William and his brothers Michael, William (Lynnette), Steven ( Anita), Scott (Michele) and Matthew ( Kim) and many nieces and nephews.
Please join us in his Funeral Mass at Saint Columban’s Church, 10801 Stanford Street, Garden Grove California, 92840 at 11:00 AM , Monday, February 23, 2015. There will be a celebration of his life immediately following at the “Old Ranch Counrty Club" at 3901 Lampson Ave, Seal Beach, California 90740.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Badge of Honor Memorial (http://www.bohmf.org) The Badge of Honor Foundation assist the survivors of Officers that have been killed in the line of duty.
Gregory will always be remembered as a loving and caring husband, father, son , brother and uncle. Greg's gentleness, loyalty and compassion for others will always be with us.
