Hien Thanh Tran Mai

Hien Thanh Tran Mai was granted her angel wings on Saturday, March 3, 2012, just one day shy of reaching her 14th birthday. Her final days were spent surrounded by family and friends that Hien had touched in some way, throughout her short, yet very memorable life.

Although Hien’s have been fighting a terminal illness, she possessed strength, perseverance and the ability to overcome incredible odds for a 13th years old child. With her courage she led us to believe that each day is a blessing and an opportunity to create lasting memories. She loved going to church and especially enjoyed singing along with the church choirs. Hien will be dearly missed by all.

Visitation has been scheduled for Friday, March 9, 2012 from 1-8 pm at Lakeside Chapel located at Westminster Memorial Park in Westminster. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 10, 2012 at 12:00 pm at St. Polycarp Church in Stanton. Hien will be laid to rest at Good Shepherd Cemetery in Huntington Beach, California. Arrangements under the direction of Dimond & Shannon Mortuary, Garden Grove, CA.
