

Jennie Ethel Bergeron, 87, passed away October 15th 2016 at her home in Anaheim CA. She was born on August 10, 1929 to Leroy and Mary Rose Simcox in South Dakota. She was raised on a farm in upstate New York with 10 brothers and sisters. She met her husband Maurice Alphonse Noel Bergeron in Syracuse, NY; they were married in Homestead, Pennsylvania on December 4th, 1948. They moved to Anaheim, CA March 1960 where they raised their 10 children.
A Traditional Catholic who taught Sunday School and was member of the Blue Army with a deep devotion to our Blessed Mother Mary. She established Our Lady of Ransom home school teaching over 20 kids in grades 1 through 12 for 13 years.
She is preceded in death by her husband Maurice Bergeron, son Daniel Bergeron and grandson Gregory Perko. She is survived by her sister Anne Blume; children Mark Bergeron, Paul Bergeron, Mary Bontempo, Catherine Bergeron, Lawrence Bergeron, Michael Bergeron, Diane Hemlock, Antoinette Perko and Stephen Bergeron; 29 grandchildren and 51 great grandchildren.
Wake will be 4-8 pm at Dimond Shannon Mortuary on Thursday October 20th ; rosary starting at 7pm. Funeral mass will be held on Friday, October 21st at Annunciation Byzantine Catholic Church at 10 am followed by luncheon, then burial at Good Shepherd Cemetery.
