Jose Manuel Lopez passed away on October 3, 2026. Born on July 22, 1967, in Jalisco, Mexico, Jose later made his home in Garden Grove, California, where he built a life defined by steady devotion to family, work, and the people who depended on him.
Jose was the co-owner of Advanced Car Creations, a family business he poured himself into with unwavering commitment. He worked relentlessly—often 7 days a week and 12-hour days—because he believed in building something lasting for his family. The shop, a car audio business specializing in radios, speakers, alarms, and more, was not simply his work; it was his legacy, carefully built through loyalty and persistence.
Jose married Michelle in 1989, and together they raised two daughters, Marissa and Suzanne. He was a loving father and husband whose compassion showed most clearly in the ways he showed up, valuing family time and recognizing the importance of staying close and present. He especially loved his grandkids. Jose's perfect day would involve spending time outside with his family, ideally somewhere in nature by the water. He also loved traveling and would do so every year, even when it was hard for him to leave his work.
Jose will be remembered as a devout business owner, a proud Mexican, and above all a loving father and husband. His life reflected loyalty to his family, compassion in the ways he grew and gave, and a love that was steady, practical, and enduring.
Jose is survived by his wife, Michelle Lopez; his daughters, Marissa Coronel and Suzanne Lopez; his grandchildren, Scarlet, Ruby and Adrian Coronel; his parents, Maria and Benjamin Lopez; and his siblings, Letticia Ruiz, Aide Tomas, Jesus Lopez, Humberto Lopez, Larry Lopez and Benjamin Lopez; and his son in law Francisco Coronel.
