Maria was born in Distrito Federal in the state of Guanajuato, Mexico. It was in Tijuana, 1961, where she met the love of her life, Jesse Sandoval. They were married and grew their family, having 8 children together. Maria was always a very loving mother and the perfect babysitter. She adored her big family and loved to spend time with them especially at the park or playing Loteria. She was also a very devout Catholic, praying the rosary every day, going to mass, and had spent 24 years as a catechism teacher.
A visitation for Maria will be held Thursday, January 11, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Dimond & Shannon Mortuary. A funeral mass will be Friday, January 12, 2024 at 10:30 AM at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Fullerton. A graveside service will follow afterwards at around 1:30pm at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Rowland Heights.
