She attended Bracketville High School and absolutely loved being in the marching band, in which she spoke of often. She came from a musical family, she loved being a bilingual teachers aid helping the young children in her classes.
Ora was a woman filled with a tremendous amount of love for her 5 children, Wanda, Valerie, Lisa, Jim, and Yvette. She absolutely adored all of her 12 grandchildren; Timothy, Michael, Katie, Lana, Nikki, Shawn, Matthew, Bethany, Briana, Harmony, Noah & Kayla.
She was a great grandmother to 14 beautiful kids.
She was a woman of such great sweetness but when it came to her family she was a fierce lioness!! Furthering her education was important to her, you could find mom in college classes all throughout her life. A determined woman who had many losses in her life including her beloved first husband Barney Putman whom she had 1 daughter with ,Wanda, she spoke of Barney as her great love and how kind he was to her, sadly he was taken in world war 2 far to soon. She moved forward and soon met James Hoyer a strong , dependable quiet man who thought highly of mom had 4 more children and made a home in Orange County. She will be greatly missed and fondly remembered through her generous love to her family and cute funny things she would say. Even though mom was 96 she would still say she needed a boyfriend lol that's mom full of life forever young!!!
