
He was born on June 16, 1935, in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin, of Merton and Theresa Mack.
Richard served in the Army during the Korean War ,and was stationed in Germany. He moved to Orange, California in 1963, where he lived for the rest of his life. Richard had his own asphalt paving business, "Dick Mack Paving", for 40 years before he retired to enjoy the California weather, gardening and supporting other Veterans.
Richard is survived by his loving wife, Janis Mack; two children, Pamela Brunton and Robert Mack; sister, Cherril Feucht; brother, Dave Mack; grandchildren, Brandon and Brianne Mack and Natalie Brunton, and many nieces and nephews. Richard was preceded in his parents and his brother, Mert Mack. He also had 40+ years relationship with friends of Bill W.
A memorial service for Richard will be held Tuesday, July 18, 2023 at 10am at Christ Cathedral. Following the memorial service, Richard will be laid to rest at Christ Cathedral Memorial Gardens in Garden Grove, California.
