She was born on March 5, 1936, in Seminole, Oklahoma, to John and Marie Phillips.
Stella was married at the age of 16 to her late husband, Lloyd Cornelius, and devoted her life to being a loyal wife and mother.
Stella is survived by her two daughters, Zenda and Brenda, her brother Lee Roy Phillips, her grandchildren Tarrell, Rick, Briaunna, and Riley, and her great-grandchildren Hailey, Sean, Emersyn, and Hudson. Stella was a beloved mother-in-law to Robbie and Richard.
Stella was preceded in death by her husband Lloyd Cornelius, her brother Sunny Phillips, and her sister Emma Nicks.
She was a wonderful mother who was always there when needed, offering support, wisdom, and love in abundance. A loyal wife, caring for her husband until the very end. She has touched the lives of so many with her life stories; now it’s our turn. We get to tell the stories of Mom's life.
