Willie Edd Harris

Willie was the 3rd child of Allis and Tommy Harris. Willie enjoyed his childhood, sharing memories with his brothers David Lee the oldest, Tommy Lee Jr., and Johnny Harris. Growing up in the south instilled a hard work ethic and built the character of the man we all know and loved. His endeavors led him to hold several different jobs but a career driving diesel trucks for many years was his passion. He then later transitioned to becoming a warehouse shipping clerk.

In 1970, Willie relocated to Santa Ana, California from Alabama. He met his wife Viola and married her in 1972, where they shared a home for over 30 years and who survives him. In his free time, he enjoyed playing basketball when he could. He was quite the athlete back in the day. Willie was a champion bowler. Weekends were spent participating in bowling leagues throughout Southern California. He also enjoyed street racing and ham radios, he was affectionately called "Uncle Bill". Willie was always there to help relatives and friends with household projects, or whatever else people needed him for. He spent time with his children and grandchildren whenever he could.

During his final slumber, he is survived by his only remaining brother Tommy Lee Harris, Jr. and wife Viola Harris and two children; Alice Harris Moore and husband Richard C. Moore and Andre Harris and his mother Teresita Stowe. Preceding him in death and awaiting with open arms his parents Tommy Harris his mother Allis Harris, his brothers David Lee and Johnny Harris. He leaves to cherish his fond memory to his grandchildren, Christina Carter and her husband Lamar Carter and Karen Harris, his three great grandchildren, Reginald, Malcolm and Lamar, Jr., a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and good friends, whose lives he touched.
